GlitterBug hand washing kit

Learn about hand hygiene and proper hand washing techniques!

Knitting Connections kit

This do-it-yourself kit allows you to knit or crochet a hat for a newborn child to help support the Library’s Born to Read program.

Book club kits

Book club kits can be borrowed for an extended loan period of 6 weeks. Each kit contains 10 copies of a title and a discussion guide.

Permits and passes

In response to high demand, we are updating our park pass lending process. The loan period will now be one week, and passes will no longer be available for holds. Park passes will also be temporarily removed from our catalogue until the 2026 passes are received. All existing holds will continue to be honoured and retain the two-week loan period.

Day pass


  • These passes allow day use entry to visit the exhibits showcased at the oldest and largest art museum in Southern Ontario.
  • Children and students of any age are always free.
  • Each pass admits up to 4 adults.
  • You can borrow these passes for one week.

Grand River Parks

Day pass


  • These membership passes, provided by Grand River Parks, opens a new window, allows day-use entry for up to six people in one vehicle (or walking in).
  • Allows entry to 10 Grand River Conservation Areas and the Luther Marsh Wildlife Management Area.
  • Pass is not valid at Elora Quarry.
  • Some activities require additional fees.
  • You can borrow these passes for one week.

Ontario Parks

Day pass


  • This pass provided by Ontario Parks, opens a new window, allows entry to any provincial park for one vehicle and its passengers for the day.
  • The permit does not cover overnight stays or the costs of renting equipment.
  • Plan ahead on busy days; use your permit to reserve your spot, opens a new window in advance.
  • You can borrow these passes for one week.

Day pass


  • These passes provide regular admission to THEMUSEUM for a family of up to two adults and up to four children.
  • Passes are not valid for ticketed events, workshops, or school programs.
  • Each pass can be used more than once
  • You can borrow these passes for one week.
